In January 2018, Hakone Hotel Kowakien closed its doors after 58 years and 9 months of history. In July 2023, it took over the name of the long-familiar Hakone Hotel Kowakien and was reborn as a hotel where you can experience hot springs, nature, and meals in conjunction with Yunessun. The lobby, which overlooked the garden, which was popular in the old hotel, has been made into an open-air space in the new Hakone Hotel Kowakien, creating a nostalgic yet more impressive space than ever before. All guest rooms are equipped with beds so that everyone can feel comfortable. In addition to Western-style rooms, we also have Japanese-style rooms where you can relax on tatami mats. The large public bath is located on the top floor with a great view, and you can enjoy the natural scenery to the fullest from the open-air bath.
