During this time, the main building was erected, gathering 80 temple carpenters from Akita, Aomori, and Iwate prefectures to showcase their woodworking techniques. The architecture of Towada Hotel is richly crafted using large natural Akita cedar trees, considered one of the three most beautiful trees in Japan. Our baths offer soft and refreshing water, filtered from snowmelt produced by the natural surroundings of Towada.
